Day 3: March 9, 2006
Location: StandUp for Kids Outreach facility.
Students arrived at the facility, we were given a tour and discussed the issues of homelessness found among teenagers in SD. We were then given a walking tour of squatter settlements found within downtown. We had a one on one conversation with a few homeless teenagers and got an insight on how the live from a day to day basis. Police even got involved with the conversation, thanks Bill!! |
